From Gandhi to New Gandhi: A Political Odyssey through Ghosts and Resurrections | Piyush Srivastava | Kharidobechobooks

Did Mahatma Gandhi fail during his lifetime? Is Gandhism an extinct idea? Is Savarkarism growing? Was Jawaharlal Nehru a politician like any other? Did Nathuram Godse understand his actions? Why are Narendra Modi and Rahul Gandhi the way they are?

From Gandhi to New Gandhi delves into the past and the present-the butchery of the Hindus in Noakhali; the advocacy of Aga Khan III for Pakistan; the Jallianwala Bagh 'scam'; the Congress Party's disinterest in Mahatma; Nehru's arm-twisting of the Hindu Mahasabha and the RSS; Savarkar's unfulfilled wish to win the educated class; Modi's self-love; and Rahul's hit-and-run proclivity-to uncover the answers.

The book highlights little-known but alarming facts from 1856 to 2024. It is neither an appreciation nor a critique of anybody but a revelation of truths being suppressed carefully under the leftist-rightist rubric. It dares modern historians to contemplate the omissions and commissions sponsored by them. By doing so, it opens a new window for researchers. Besides, every sub-chapter in the book is a potential ammunition for political buffs against rival camps.
