Hell's Corner | David Baldacci | Kharidobechobooks

The story follows John Carr, aka "Oliver Stone," a former elite CIA assassin who has spent decades trying to leave his lethal past behind. The US President summons Stone to Lafayette Park—right across from the White House, a location known locally to D.C. insiders as "Hell's Corner"—for a face-to-face meeting, demanding his help on a high-risk, covert international mission.
Before Stone can even begin, a massive bomb detonates in the park right as the British Prime Minister’s motorcade is departing a high-profile state dinner. What appears to be an obvious terrorist plot targeting world leaders completely shifts Stone's priorities. In the chaotic aftermath, the President gives him a new, urgent assignment: track down those responsible.
