Avalanche Express (1977): A high-stakes Cold War thriller involving a high-ranking Soviet defector traveling on a luxury train through a dangerous European winter landscape while pursued by opposing intelligence agents. It is notable as the only novel by Colin Forbes to be adapted into a feature film (released in 1979, starring Lee Marvin and Robert Shaw).
